When I released my ‘Caught’ series of short stories last year, it was partly a test of Kindle Unlimited. Amazon’s subscription-based reading service – where you pay a monthly fee, and can read any book an author or publisher has enrolled – is popular, particularly with romance readers. However, it also comes with some downsides: the biggest is that ebooks have to be Amazon-exclusive.
Just like with “Farmed Out”, I decided that it was time the books in the ‘Caught’ series landed in other stores. Honestly, I intended to do it sooner (but I forgot the cadence for Amazon’s 90 day rolling enrollment) but – in a surprising moment of flexibility – Amazon agreed to pull them all from Kindle Unlimited simultaneously.
Now, you can find “Donny’s Sneaky Link,” “The Underwear Aisle,” “On Your Doorstep,” “I Need To Stop Staring,” and “Sweating Out The Truth” on a variety of ebook stores, including itch.io, Smashwords, and more. As I write this, there are some missing stores, but they should be filling in over the next week or so.
To celebrate their freedom, I’m running a bundle promotion on itch.io: get all five for $8.99. One of the good things about itchio is that you can download ePub and PDF copies, too. Great for backups!
Remember, you can get the first ‘Caught’ book – it’s called “Reflections” – for free, just for signing up to my mailing list.
