Hey everyone, I’m Alex Pendragon! You might know me as Alex P, or alexp336.
I’m originally from the U.K., though these days I live in the U.S. Most of the time I manage to get the American spellings correct…
While I’ve written fiction pretty much all my life, the story that introduced a lot of people to me was “On The Poolboy Payroll.” Serialized on Nifty back in 2010, it arguably set the blueprint for a lot of the themes I still write about today. Gay/bi-awakenings, an above-average fascination with underwear/swimwear, the surprising allure of a very confident partner, and the idea that our sexuality can be like a rolling stone gathering momentum and getting more and more outrageous as it goes.
It was followed by “Jockboy Auction,” which went on to be picked up by since-folded publisher Loose Id and released as “Jock Auction.” It’s still one of my most popular books, not to mention my first novel-length gay romance. It also pushed me into a broader audience, and taught me that you can’t please every reader, all of the time!
Since then, I’ve been writing on and off, releasing stories at Nifty and GayDemon, and – since 2022 – through Amazon, Smashwords, Apple Books, and other ebook outlets. I still write a mixture of erotica and erotic romance, all invariably high-heat. I don’t believe in hiding the sexy stuff behind closed doors!
Like sexy college wrestlers? I’ve got you covered. Fascinated by sex toys and power dynamics? Yep, I’ve got you covered. Obsessed by exhibitionists? Yes, you guessed it, I’ve got you covered. Can’t get enough of coming-of-age gay romance? Yes indeed, I’ve got you covered!
One consistent thing throughout all my time writing is how amazing it’s been to hear from readers. Whether it’s a single line saying you enjoyed a story or liked a particular character, or a something longer, it’s always a pleasure to see a new message in my inbox. I also really appreciate reviews and ratings on ebook stores and Goodreads – they truly do make a difference.
You can find a full list of my currently-available stories here. If you’re not sure where to start, I’ve got some suggestions that might help.
