Happy New Year! (Yes, I know, it’s already January 15th…)
It’s fair to say that 2024 was not what I expected it to be. I wrote a lot, including some of my favorite stories so far. And then Gumroad decided my books weren’t what it wanted to see on its virtual shelves, giving me 24 hours to delist them, so I ended up building my own site and my own newsletter.
Despite all that, I still had a pretty hectic publishing schedule in 2024. Or, more accurately, I didn’t really have a schedule, so much as “finish writing a story and then release it straight away.” A big thank you to everyone who picked up those books, read them, and let me know what they thought: either by reviews and ratings, or getting in touch directly. I know I’ve said it a lot already, but hearing from you is one the very best things about writing!
Just in the past couple of months, I’ve finished serializing “My Sister’s Boyfriend Needed A Ride” and released it as a free ebook. I released two romances – “Sloppy” and “We Hid It Too Well” – and an erotic short, “Boxed Up,” too.
For 2025, I’m honestly not sure if I can maintain 2024’s aggressive release schedule. A semi-regular question I get is “do you write these stories full-time?” and, sadly, the answer to that is no. I squeeze my writing moments in around my day job – I try to do an hour first thing in the morning, and then another last thing before bed – but life sometimes gets in the way!
I don’t want to over-promise, then, but I do have at least two full-length novels (one romance, one erotica) in the near pipeline, and a third in-progress. I have a couple of short stories I released on Nifty and GayDemon last year, which I think are prime candidates for adding to.
Oh, and I know I keep promising a third installment in the “College Wrestler Secrets” series, and a sequel to “Farmed Out” too. And more blog posts. That’s a pretty decent to-do list, I think, and I’ve no doubt that some unexpected idea will also spring into my brain and derail everything!
(If you want updates, my free newsletter will have all the details: I promise not to spam your inbox, and you get a free story when you sign up)
2025 looks set to be a very strange (and potentially very stressful) year. I’m hopeful that I can provide at least a little distraction from that along the way, and I appreciate you all coming along for the ride!
